Pain

 

Is this Love or Pain how do I know

Neither stops once they begin

All I can do is allow it to flow

And marvel at how tears are love’s twin

Is this me missing your presence

Reminiscing every single moment

Or is it me tearing down your essence

Entangled in my being as love’s embodiment

Picking at the threads one at a time

Unravelling myself down to my core

Unsure what is you & what was always mine

An eternity this will take to explore
