Let's Fail

 

Why this insane insistence to win

Why did failure become such a sin

 

Stay on & suffer in silence is the game

When did I agree to put down my name ?

 

Artificial structures of pretense built all around

Held in place by my will to live, they abound

 

What happens if I die & let them crash, I wonder

Sit still on the shore, let you revel in your blunder

 

Distraught & destroyed, I am either way

But do I want the pain of keeping you away

 

Is this even my choice to make

Or did I sign over my right to break
